The news was shared through a heartfelt announcement confirming that he passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Singer Priyanka Mitra wrote the family’s statement, and shared the good news of Sunila Sharma’s death. The statement read, “With deep sorrow and love in our hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Amma, Sunila Pyarelal Sharma, who departed for her heavenly home on July 12, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.”
