A fun family trip

Carousel opens with casual photos of the family’s time in Alentejo in Portugal, where the Sussexes vacationed before heading to Britain. Outings on the beach and pool time add to the series, including a fun shot of Harry throwing Lilibet into the air, as the camera catches her flying before diving into the water. Another picture shows Archie on the plane, a pilot’s hat on his head as he arrives at the control room with the pilots. The couple are also pictured laughing as they dine together.

A happy moment between Prince Harry and Princess Lilibet captured the carefree spirit of their family’s summer getaway to Europe as they enjoyed some time together on the water.

Milestone meeting at Highgrove House

People reported that earlier this month, the couple went to Highgrove House, a royal residence in Gloucestershire, to meet King Charles and Queen Camilla again. The visit was only the third meeting between Harry and his father since the King was diagnosed with cancer in 2024, and the first time the King has seen his grandchildren in more than four years. The reunion comes after weeks of uncertainty over security and accommodation, back and forth that delayed Meghan’s confirmation and the children’s involvement.

King Charles and Queen Camilla will also meet Prince Harry and his family

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are said to have welcomed Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children during a family reunion at Highgrove House after years of no contact.

“One of the ironies of the monarchy is that we’re all encouraged to forget that they’re human because they’re representatives of this institution,” royal secretary Catherine Mayer told the publication. “But at heart it’s just a family – and this family has been through an incredible amount of trouble. Whatever you think of the kingdom, this is the moment most of us want it to happen.”

Back to Princess Diana’s resting place

One image in the carousel captures a crucial moment: the family standing in Althorp Square, Harry and Archie holding flowers. The photo shows the three in the background as they pay their respects at the grave of Princess Diana, who was laid to rest on the island of The Round Oval, a beautiful lake in Althorp Park’s Pleasure Garden. In his 2023 book ‘Spare’, Harry thought about bringing Meghan to his mother’s grave for the first time in 2022. “We hesitated, hugged, and then I went first. I put flowers on the grave. Meg gave me a moment, and I talked to my mother in my head, I told her that I missed her, I asked her to guide me and clearly. He continued: “When I heard that Meg would like a moment, I went around the fence, and looked at the pool. After leaving the cemetery, Harry asked what Meghan had prayed for. “He said clearly.” It’s a guide,” Duke recalled.
