‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ opened cautiously, collecting around Rs 12.25 crore in its first week. However, the film’s fortunes took a turn for the worse in the second week, when strong audience response resulted in the film earning Rs 22.5 crore, almost double its opening weekend.

The foreign box office is worldwide
On the international front, Main Vaapas Aaunga added Rs 75 lakh on Day 17, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 15.65 crore. When combined with the domestic figures, the film’s total international collection has reached Rs 70.88 crore.

Box office competition in week 3
‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ is facing tough competition in the third weekend. ‘Cocktail 2’, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, collected Rs 4.40 crore on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Akshay Kumar-starrer “Welcome to the Jungle” collected Rs 24.75 crore on the same day domestically, which brought the problems of non-performing films.
