Akhil AkkineniThe recent release of ‘Lenin’ has opened its theaters with an impressive start at the box office. The drama hit the theaters on Friday and registered a good opening in India as well as overseas markets. In the film it shows Bhagyashree Borse as a woman leads.
Collection day 1 crossing Rs 9 crore worldwide
According to Sacnilk, Lenin collected Rs 5.90 crore in India on its opening day. The film achieved 2,028 screenings across the country.The collection in India reached Rs 6.73 crore. The total for India is currently at Rs 5.90 crore.The film earned 3 crores in overseas collections. This pushed the worldwide total to Rs 9.73 crore on the opening day.
Telugu countries are very supportive
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana emerged as the largest markets for Lenin. Together, the two countries contributed Rs 6 crore to India for the film on Day 1.Karnataka followed with Rs 65 lakhs. Tamil Nadu added Rs 3 lakhs while rest of India contributed Rs 5 lakhs.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu he increases his support
