Akhil Akkineni‘s ‘Lenin’ continued its theatrical performance with good numbers on its second day. After a good opening, the Telugu drama registered another growth on Saturday.According to Sacnilk, ‘Lenin’ collected Rs 8.15 crore in India on Day 2. The latest figure shows a 14 percent increase in its opening day collection of Rs 7.15 crore nett.The film took second days from 2,099 shows across the country. After two days in theatres, Lenin collected Rs 15.30 crore at the Indian box office.
The worldwide collection crosses Rs 23 crore
On its second day, ‘Lenin’ collected Rs 2.50 crore in foreign collections.With this, the total revenue of the film has reached Rs 5.80 crore.At home, the collection in India has now reached Rs 17.60 crore after two days. ‘Lenin’ has collected around Rs 23.40 crores worldwide.
The presence remains stimulating throughout the day
Lenin also registered a very strong audience on Saturdays, especially the evening and night shows.According to Sacnilk, the Telugu 2D version recorded 60.27 percent on Day 2.The video opened with 39.00 percent occupancy during the morning session. The collection was the best in the afternoon, registering 64.31 percent.The evening shows a better drop of 55.92 percent, while the night shows witnessed the strongest response of the day with an occupancy of 73.75 percent.Meanwhile, the Telugu EPIQ version registered 7.40 percent audience.According to the official financial report, the film collected Rs 8 crore from two Telugu countries on Day 2.Karnataka contributed Rs 1.10 crore, while Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 13 lakhs. The rest of India contributed Rs 15 lakhs to the total.The combined collection of Day 2 across all sectors stood at Rs 9.38 crore.
