The singer shared the news with fans on Sunday through a video recorded from his hospital bed, choosing humor to break the news.Jaan, who is the son of a veteran musician Kumar SanuHe did not say when his symptoms started or how long he is expected to be under medical supervision.Sharing the video on social media, Jaan wrote, “China will live again 🦇 Covid ko salaam karo.”He also joked about being in the hospital, writing, “Fit check – Wearing my favorite designer: Kokilaben. According to reports, health officials have found eight active cases in YSR Kadapa district in recent weeks. Two patients who were diagnosed with the disease reportedly died while receiving treatment.After recent cases, local authorities have increased surveillance and deployed emergency response teams to collect samples from affected areas.
