Govinda’s home: Inside Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s Rs 16 crore home in Mumbai built around Vastu with Italian furniture and rare decor | Hindi Movie News
Sunita Ahuja recently welcomed viewers to her luxury home in Mumbai, unveiling a home that perfectly blends luxury and spirituality. Estimated to be worth around Rs 16 crore, the building has been meticulously designed with Vastu Shastra at its core. From sacred corners and beautiful interiors to hand-crafted decorations collected from around the world, everything reflects the family’s personality. In an interview with Mashable India, Sunita also revealed that her children, Yashvardhan and Tina, took part in decorating the house, making it a true family project.
Vastu plays a major role in every corner
Sunita revealed that every part of the house is designed according to Vastu principles, which she believes brings peace, prosperity and good energy in their lives. For example, the balcony has two tulsi plants placed in opposite corners. One is for Sunita, while the other is for her daughter Tina. The same space also doubles as his prayer corner, where he performs Surya Arghya every morning. The balcony also has an idol of Sai Baba, an angel-headed table decorated with small angel figurines and candles, an elephant sculpture, pyrite crystals and a large mirror, all carefully placed in accordance with Vastu principles.
The living room is designed with beauty and openness
Instead of filling the space with extravagant decorations, Sunita explained that the living room was designed to emphasize ease and comfort.Cream-colored walls, wooden beams and pendant lights create a warm atmosphere, while the accessories add a touch of luxury. The room is decorated with souvenirs and antiques that the family collects from their travels around the world. Some of the standout pieces are an Italian green and brown sofa paired with Versace candles and vintage-inspired lamps, lending the space an English charm.
A personal touch reflects family life
The living room also has the needs of everyone in the family. One unit has been given to his son Yashvardhan, complete with a large television, a PS5 game console and a punching bag.Another interesting feature is the emerald green wood with functional shelves, which blend well with the color scheme of the room. The house also has a marble-topped dining table where the Ahuja family gathers to eat and spend quality time together.
The heart of the Ahuja family
Sunita described the living room as the busiest part of the house. Whether entertaining guests, hosting meetings, celebrating with friends or enjoying family time, this space remains at the center of everyday life. For this reason, he believes that ensuring that the room is in accordance with Vastu is important, because it helps to maintain harmony and good energy throughout the house.
