The first official look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom mask has been revealed via a screenshot shared by a former member of the production team. Former casting director Andy Park posted a photo from the upcoming blockbuster on July 11, giving fans their first look at several of the film’s key characters.“AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY – the last film that I had the opportunity to direct as the Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios. This illustration remembers the journey & reveals the characters and their appearance for the first time. #AvengersDoomsday,” Park wrote on social media, showing the important moment in the distribution of the film.

First look back X-Men pictures

The trailer also includes the first teasers for several returning characters from the X-Men franchise who have not previously appeared in promotional material for the upcoming film. These include Nightcrawler, portrayed by Alan Cumming, Beast, played by Kelsey Grammer, and Mystique, portrayed by Rebecca Romijn. The artwork also features a striking image of Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, in the center of the image.

Andy Park is leaving the studio

Andy Park shared this artwork after he left the production team earlier this year. The inspector general was one of the key elements of the April meeting. He announced his departure on social media at the time, considering his long tenure with the organization. “Marvel Studios Visual Development: 2010-2026. The end of time. I was there at the beginning of the group that broke the mold. 16 years, 40 + films, and 15 films directed as Director of Visual Development; I could not be prouder of the history we made,” he wrote, remembering his time with the studio.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ looks set to be the studio’s most ambitious project to date, with the biggest cast of heroes portrayed by the best actors. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is set for a special re-release

According to Collider, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is set to be re-released in theaters on September 25, 2026, called ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’, as part of the promotional campaign for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. The re-release is expected to feature the originals and additional features to choose from in the form of classic actors, building excitement ahead of the return of the Russo Brothers.‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is slated to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
