Although they initially met to discuss a project, Amit later shared a story that referred to Varde as ‘OMG’. According to Varde, Amit revealed that Paresh Rawal had inspired him to write the script in a narrative style similar to ‘OMG’.“As soon as I heard this, what I immediately did was that the story matches the look of ‘OMG’ completely. Then, Amit told me that he wrote in ‘OMG’ because Paresh Rawal asked him to be as close to ‘OMG’ as possible according to the story,” he recalled.Ashwin said that Amit Rai had initially raised concerns about intellectual property rights related to ‘OMG’, but Paresh Rawal reportedly assured him that there was nothing to worry about. The producer also said that the actor wants to go ahead without involving Akshay Kumar, despite the fact that the franchise is very close to him.“That’s when it became clear to me what Paresh was trying to do.
