Maddox Chivan Jolie and Zahara Marley Jolie are awaiting name change requestsAccording to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, two of Jolie and Pitt’s older children filed petitions to legally change their names. Maddox is requesting to change his legal name from Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt to Maddox Chivan Jolie. Zahara wants the name Zahara Marley Jolie. A hearing to consider Maddox’s request is scheduled for September 14, while Zahara’s request will be heard on September 28.

Both have already completed the necessary step to publicize their changes published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal. Maddox’s published testimony was written on July 7, and Zahara followed on July 9. However, there is no civil court record that has proven that professional debt reflects a legal name change.
