Fresh off their intimate wedding celebrations, Aamir Khan and his new wife, Gauri Spratt, are said to have left for Melbourne. The actor, who left for professional work, says he will turn the trip into a fun family vacation.

According to Deccan Chronicle reports, Aamir and Gauri are traveling with their sons. Aamir, who shares Azad with ex-wife Kiran Rao, will also have Gauri’s son, Quinn, to join him on the tour. Apart from sticking to his work commitments, the actor is said to be adding the two trips as a honeymoon getaway and an opportunity for the boys to spend time together and allow Aamir to spend quality time with Quinn.The Melbourne trip comes less than a week after Aamir and Gauri tied the knot in an intimate ceremony booked at the actor’s residence in Bandra on July 5. The couple’s wedding was attended by only a few close friends, relatives, and their children.

After this holiday, Aamir is expected to attend the 2026 Indian Film Festival in Melbourne, where he received the Best Actor nomination for his performance in ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. The festival recently revealed its nominees, with Aamir competing for Best Performance (Male), along with Ahaan Pandey, Bhuman Bhargav Das, Dulquer Salmaan, Mammootty, Ranveer Singh, Rishab Shetty and Sanjay Mishra.The category for Best Performance (Female) includes Aneet Padda, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Kirti Kulhari, Neena Gupta, Rajshri Deshpande, Rani Mukerji, Rituparna Sengupta and Yami Gautam Dhar.
