Nissan Tekton: description of features and prices of different versions
Nissan India has just launched the much-awaited Nissan Tekton SUV in the Indian market. Interested customers can book the new Tekton online or visit the nearest dealer to pay Rs 21,000 for booking, with deliveries starting from July 20. The new Tekton shares its platform with the new Renault Duster and will be produced at Renault’s plant in Tamil Nadu. The SUV will compete with mid-size SUVs such as the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and Volkswagen Taigun in the Indian market.

Nissan Tekton is available in six variants: Visia, Visia plus, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna plus, priced from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.59 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). It is offered in two engine options – 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 100 hp and 166 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. The other engine option is a 1.3-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine developing 163bhp, 280Nm and mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).
