In an interview with Variety India, Firoz opened up about his relationship with Akshay, whose involvement was crucial in bringing ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ to the screens. He said, “Our relationship is like a relationship. It is above economics and pressure. Our relationship started in 1996-97. It is based on living together, working together and that is the bond we share.”

There is something spiritual about the way he goes about his work.” When asked about the current status of ‘Hera Pheri 3’, Firoz kept it brief but positive. He said: “Things are going well and going well.”“
