After last appearing in ‘Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves’ in 1997, he has taken on various voice acting roles over the years, on PEOPLE.

Explaining how the idea for the sequel came about, Rick star Josh Gad revealed that they originally wanted to discuss a reboot of ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids’. “The truth is, I had to accept this. It’s the only way I could get Josh Gad to stop texting me,” Moranis told the panel, before adding, “We kept talking about it. I’m not retired, I’m just talking.“
