Rakul Preet Singh has revealed that acting was not part of his original plan. The actress opened up about her journey and how she got her first singing job by accident while in college and only accepted it because she wanted to buy a car with the Rs 5 lakh she was given. Recalling how her journey began, Rakul told News18: “The Kannada film industry happened to me by chance. I was still in college and it was the third day after my photoshoot. At that time I was studying mathematics so I didn’t know what to do. I was in my first year, so I wasn’t sure about making a film.”He admitted that his salary convinced him yes. “What I did for this film was that I was paid Rs 5 lakh and I thought I would be the first among my friends to own a car.
