With this initial figure, the film has now collected Rs 43.29 crore (India net) and Rs 50.97 crore (India gross). The final figures of Day 2 are expected to rise significantly as evening and night shows are added. On its opening day, the film collected Rs 41 crore in India and Rs 78.27 crores worldwide, making it Vijay’s strongest opening ever.
Tamil Nadu is still Vijay’s biggest movie market
The film’s opening performance was led by Tamil Nadu, which contributed around Rs 24 crore in domestic collections. Karnataka followed with Rs 11.25 crore, while Kerala added Rs 5.52 crore. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana accounted for Rs 4 crore, and other markets contributed more.
