Rakul Preet Singh joined the star-studded cast at Pratham Sankalp, a major pre-event in Delhi ahead of the world premiere of ‘RamayanaPart 1′. Keeping with the tradition of the event, the actress opted for a yellow Kanjivaram silk saree from home label Kankatala, paired with heirloom jewelry and understated elegance. Worth Rs 49,144, a six-yard heritage with good stability, sophistication and modern styling.
What did Rakul Preet Singh wear?
At the event, Rakul was transformed by Ami Patel in a one-of-a-kind yellow gold Kanjivaram saree from her native Kankatala. The bodice of the silk saree has gold and silver zari checks that make it shimmer, while the gold zari brocade border with peacock and elephant motifs within floral vines runs through the sky. The pallu showcases matching details, maintaining its design from end to end. She was paired with a simple plain blouse finished with a zari border.The saree, sourced from Kankatala, is priced at Rs 49,144.Rakul finished off the look with jewelery from Shri Paramani Jewels, opting for matching earrings, necklace, waist belt, bangles and ear chains. Her blouse is from Nafs.On the beauty front, the actress kept things minimal with nude pink lips, slightly smoky eyes, bold brows and bright cheeks. Her hair was styled in soft waves and parted in the middle, tucked into a half updo, a choice that allowed the ear chain to be centered.

The Pratham Sankalp event was the first time that all the actors of Ramayana met in public, before the trailer was released worldwide. A conference in Delhi brought together leading leaders Ranbir KapoorNo, Sai PallaviSunny Deol, Arun Govil and Ravie Dubey, along with the director Nitesh Tiwariproducer Namit Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh, among others from the film’s music and production team.Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ is produced by Namit Malhotra. Scheduled as part of a two-part classic, the film traces Rama’s journey from the prince of Ayodhya through his years of exile to his battle against Ravana. The cast includes Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, with music composed by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman.The official trailer of the film is scheduled to be released worldwide on July 24, 2026, while ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is expected to release in Diwali 2026, and the second part is expected to follow Diwali 2027.
