Maruti Suzuki The updated Brezza is expected to be launched on July 24, and ahead of the official launch, the entry-level LXI trim of the compact SUV has been spotted without camouflage. The latest spy photos show the base version in detail for the first time.The front of the 2026 Brezza features a redesigned grille for a more closed-in look, along with a revised front bumper. Despite being the base model of the LXI, the spotted model appears to be equipped with projector headlights. Like most entry-level trims, it continues to use black steel wheels instead of alloys.While the interiors of the LXI variant are yet to be fully revealed, the updated Brezza is expected to have some added features across the lineup. Higher trims are likely to get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, connected car features and a HUD. The steering wheel is expected to remain unchanged and continue to feature integrated controls.Under the hood, the facelifted Brezza is expected to continue to use the familiar 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 101 hp and 137 Nm of torque. However, Maruti Suzuki may replace the existing five-speed manual gearbox with a new six-speed manual gearbox. In addition, some models are also expected to be equipped with a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, although the company has not officially confirmed the full powertrain options.Maruti Suzuki has already started accepting bookings for this SUV at a nominal price of Rs 11,000. Once launched, the updated Brezza will continue to compete with rivals like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and others.
