In 1981, Sanjay Dutt he made his Bollywood debut with ‘Rocky.’ Back then, he was one of the most sought-after actors, and till now, his excitement never fails to take over the day. However, there was another part in the actor’s life that was called the most difficult topic. In March 1993, he was arrested for the bombings in Bombay (now Mumbai). He was charged with illegal possession of weapons, and Dutt served his time in prison. However, as they say, every part of your life comes for a reason; it teaches you a lesson. During his 5 years in jail, Sanjay Dutt also learned a lesson in forgiveness. And interestingly, he learned from a hawaldar (constable).

Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt recently sat down with Dr D Nageshwar Reddy of AIG Hospitals, where he shared what he learned in prison. The topic was raised when the host and guest were talking about Sanjay Dutt’s popularity ‘jadu ki jhappi’ And the price of sorry and thank you. These two simple words make a person stable, said Dr Reddy. In addition to his speech, Sanjay Dutt spoke about the importance of forgiveness.Remembering the time he was in prison, he said: “I learned this while in prison.”The ‘Vaastav’ actor said: “Awaldar (constable) taught me this.”He explained how the policeman told him that if people hurt him, he should forgive. The actor added that, while it sounds like a good idea, it’s easier said than done. “But doing that is very difficult,” he admitted.“That’s the big one,” he concluded.

Sanjay Dutt wished his father was alive to see him free
Sanjay Dutt was released from prison in 2016, ten years after his father Sunil Dutt’s death. When he opened up about the same during an interaction with the aforementioned media, he shared, “The day I was released after the final verdict, it was the happiest moment of my life. I missed my father (Sunil Dutt). I wish he was alive to see me free. He would have been a very happy person.”He gave the message that family is the greatest strength and one should not take it lightly.
