Speaking to India Today, a baker from Chennai, Tanvi Bokaria, said the sudden response was unexpected. She revealed that her bakers did not know that the cake was being prepared for Vijay’s birthday. He said: “This was a huge hit with us all night. We had no idea what the cake was. It was very special, and it really surprised me.He added, “My team are big fans of CM Joseph Vijay.”

According to Tanvi, the bakers have sold around 300 to 400 units of mango vanilla cake in just two weeks. He said: “We have sold 300 to 400 CM Vijay cakes in just a few weeks.The cake has also received a new name from the customers. Tanvi said people don’t ask for mango cake anymore.He said, “It is no longer called Mango Cake, but now it is called CM Cake.”He said this is the highest number of orders his bakery has ever received for a single cake.Vijay is currently gearing up for the release of his much anticipated film ‘Jana Nayagan’. The film is said to be his last film and is scheduled to release in theaters on July 23. After a long discussion with the CBFC, it has now received an ‘A’ certificate.
