I have met this person. She is a very interesting character.” Calling Wangchuk “humble” and an “incredible person,” the actor revealed his accomplishments before speaking about his health.“He’s on a very long hunger strike right now. His blood sugar is very low. I don’t know if you’ve heard of this. I don’t know if the media is covering this. But this is a very important thing.”Vaidya also said that despite the differences of opinion, he hopes that people will understand the seriousness of the problem. “Whether you agree with him or not, I don’t want this man to die.”
Protests continue as health concerns grow
According to the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), Sonam Wangchuk’s health has taken a turn for the worse during the fast, and the organization says she has lost around 9 kg since participating in the protests. Wangchuk participated in the protest over the alleged NEET exam while also expressing concerns about education, Ladakh’s autonomy and environmental issues.The protest has demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and compensation to the families of NEET candidates who allegedly died by suicide. The CJP has also announced a peaceful march to Parliament on July 20 during the Monsoon Session.
