Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has locked in a huge profit in the real estate market by selling his retail shop in Mumbai’s sprawling Lokhandwala Complex for Rs. 6.25 crore, almost three times the amount he paid earlier in 2012. According to property registration documents obtained by real estate agency Liases Foras, the ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’ star bought a 684-square-foot flat in Andheri West for over Rs. 2.12 million. A new deed of registration, executed by Maharashtra The Inspector General of Registration, reveals that the buyer, Umang Rajkumar Budhraja, paid a large stamp duty of Rs. 37.50 lakh, in addition to luxury events that honor the carpet floor at an impressive rate of around Rs. 91,400 per square meter.

The records show that the retail space has an area of 63.87 square meters (684 sq ft). Umang Rajkumar Budhraja bought the property for Rs 6.25 crore, paying a stamp duty of Rs 37.50 lakh on the sale. The sale was registered by the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration on July 1, 2026. Based on the estimated registered price, the deal is equivalent to around Rs 91,400 per sq ft of carpet area.

The records also show that Warsi bought the shop in February 2012 for Rs 2.12 crore, paying a stamp duty of over Rs 10 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 at that time.
