MAH MHMCT consultation opens for registration in 2026; check eligibility, key dates, list of required documents
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination Center has started the counseling registration process for Masters in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) for the year 2026-27. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official counseling portal.The registration window will remain open until 5pm on July 24, 2026. Candidates who wish to participate in the admission process can complete their registration at dmhmct2026.mahacet.org.in.As per the official schedule, candidates can upload documents and complete the verification process from July 11 to July 25, 2026. The tentative list of winners will be announced on July 28, and the final list of winners will be announced on August 3, 2026.Candidates who find errors in their provisional transcripts can submit an appeal between July 29 and July 31, 2026. Seat allotment will be done based on the MAH MHMCT CET 2026 ranking of the candidates and the college preference filled in during counseling.

How to Apply for MAH MHMCT 2026 Consultation
Candidates can follow the steps below to complete the registration process:
- Please visit the MAH CET official consultation website.
- Click on the new candidate registration link.
- Register using your name, email ID and mobile number.
- Log in using the generated application ID and password.
- Fill out the consultation request form.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.
- Choose your preferred college and course.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Required documents
Applicants should prepare the following documents when applying:
- Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or Class 10 Result List
- High School Certificate (HSC) or Grade 12 transcript
- Diploma or undergraduate transcript (if applicable)

Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for admission to the first year MHMCT program must meet the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Must have completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) or equivalent with a minimum score of 50%.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Persons with Disability (PwD) must secure at least 45% marks.
- Must have scored non-zero marks in MAH MHMCT Common Entrance Test (CET) 2026.
Sponsored candidates must also have at least two years of full-time work experience in a registered company, industry, educational or research institution, government department or autonomous organization in a relevant field.
