Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ Set For July 24 Release With Powerful New Poster |
Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). After getting the clearance, the makers shared a new poster of the film.

The production house had earlier shared one of Vijay’s famous dialogues from the film. He said, “I’m coming gg.” Finally sharing the picture, the makers wrote, “See you soon in theaters nanba & nanbis.”The recently released poster shows Vijay in a menacing look. He is seen holding a whip while standing in front of a large crowd.Vijay also posted a new sign on his X handle. Music director Anirudh Ravichander joined the story and shared the same picture. CBFC gives ‘A’ certificate
As for the film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is said to be Vijay’s last film before entering politics. The film was originally slated for release in January this year. However, it was delayed as it was awaiting the CBFC’s approval. For the delay, the makers also faced a major backlash after parts of the movie were leaked online in April.
About ‘Jana Nayagan’
Talking about the story of the film, it follows the story of Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former laborer and convict. He adopted a girl named Viji and wanted her to be brave and independent. Despite his fear of violence, they encourage him to join the army.

Along with Vijay, ‘Jana Nayagan’ stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani and Sunil in important roles. Directors Atlee, Nelson Dilipkumar and Lokesh Kanagaraj are also expected to appear in special roles.Sathyan Sooryan handled the cinematography, while Pradeep E. Raghav edited it.According to the UK distributor of the film, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is slated to hit the theaters on July 24.
