While participating in the special event, he opened up about his childhood days that connected him with the famous actor long before he entered the entertainment industry.Speaking to the media on the occasion, Bhosale revealed that his relationship with Hema Malini started unexpectedly. Years before he became a singer and actor, he used to help his father in making hand painted posters and movie posters across Mumbai.Reminiscing about those years, Sudesh Bhosale revealed that he worked with his father for several years in painting film promotions. He told the media: “People may not know that before I started acting, I used to take pictures with my father from 1974 to 1982. According to Sudesh Bhosale, his father was involved in designing the posters of many movies with Hema Malini. Working on those posters gave him the opportunity to learn the art at a very young age while developing a great interest in the actresses. He described the experience as the most important part of his artistic life, long before music became his career.

The singer also recalled the first big flag he painted as a teenager. Looking back, he recalled the excitement of helping to promote a film starring one of Bollywood’s biggest stars. He shared, “My first painting was in 1974 when I was just 14 years old. It was for ‘Prem Nagar’. I painted all the posters myself.” He also recalled that a number of Hema Malini’s films, including ‘Lal Patthar’, ‘Sharafat’ and ‘Bhai Ho To Aisa’ were some of the projects that his father did for promotions. Those past experiences shaped his creative instincts.

Sudesh Bhosale said life came when he met Hema Malini and got the chance to act with her. Focusing on one memorable experience, he said, “It was by chance that my first trip abroad, to the Fiji Islands in 1984, was with Hemaji.” The singer explained that the event was a special event. What started out as painting his posters eventually turned into sharing the stage with an actor in front of an audience outside. He said the trip is still one of the most important things in his life and work.
