Sharing the announcement on social media, the group released a statement saying, “For thousands of years, Ramayana has inspired generations through its timeless ideals of dharma, maryada, courage and compassion. Now, it begins a new journey. One of Bharat’s greatest civilisations, presented to the world, on a scale never before attempted in Indian cinema.”The announcement concluded by confirming, “The trailer of Ramayana will premiere worldwide on July 24.”

This comes days after Variety India reported that the trailer of the film will debut in the first week in India, on July 18, at a grand event in Delhi. However, now according to the latest updates, the launch of the international trailer for Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi starrer, is set to premiere at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, where producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari, and the leading men are expected to participate in a special panel.The official slate from Comic-Con 2026 shared that ‘Ramayana’ will be screened on July 23 (July 24 IST). The talk is scheduled for 3:15 pm in Ballroom 20, the second largest venue at San Diego Comic-Con, which holds approximately 4,800 people. This venue is second only to the convention’s famous Hall H and is traditionally reserved for some of the convention’s biggest shows.
