Hollywood insider Rob Shuter spoke about the July 3rd Madison Square Garden wedding on Maureen Callahan’s The Nerve podcast, criticizing the size and quality of the guest list. “It’s a shame that this wedding turned out to be so big, so empty, and so theatrical,” Shuter said of Swift’s ceremony.

Shuter noted that many of the celebrity attendees did not know the bride before receiving the invitation. “When you have George Stephanopoulos in there, who don’t know him, it’s like they don’t know each other,” the former broadcaster said of his Good Morning America colleague. “When you have Jennifer Lopez there they continued, they don’t know each other.
