The Sydney leg of ‘Waitress’ has officially been cancelled

Based on the 2007 film by Adrienne ShellyThe first song released in 2016 is a song written by a Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles and received international fame through several tours. However, bookmaker John Frost cited the economic crisis—specifically rising interest rates on inflation—as the reason their hands were tied, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.“It is regrettable that the Sydney season of Waitress will not go ahead,” he said, before adding, “Ticketmaster is working diligently with ticket holders to find out more about refunds.”The project opened in Brisbane earlier this year, before moving to Melbourne. Directed by Diane Paulus, ‘Waitress’ stars Gabriel Thomas, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Rob Mills, and Mackenzie Dunn.
