Cinema has always been an important part of family life, visiting the theater is a tradition at family celebrations.He explained that even before he and his siblings were born, his parents used to watch movies together. As the family grew, the outings became difficult to plan. Weekend movie nights made his appeal
Frequent trips to the theater proved ineffective, Tovino’s father found another way to preserve the family’s movie tradition. He bought a video cassette. He made sure to watch movies at home on weekends.The actor recalled spending hours re-watching tapes he had borrowed with his brother. Such experiences fueled his interest in cinema.Remembering those days, he said: “When we were growing up, it was difficult for the whole family to go to the theater together.” So father bought a video player, every Friday he rented video cassettes, and on Saturdays and Sundays we watched movies. My brother and I used to watch those movies over and over again. I think this is where my interest in cinema started. “On the career front, Tovino Thomas’ latest venture is in ‘Balan: The Boy’.
