Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) announced the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling (UPTAC) second round seat allotment result 2026 today (July 25). Candidates appearing for the second round of counseling for Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Master of Technology (General) [MTech (Integrated)] The program can now check its allotment status on the official website uptac.samarth.edu.in.Candidates who are satisfied with the seats allotted to them can choose the ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their admission. Those who wish to get a better seat in the upcoming consultation round can choose the ‘floating’ option. Candidates who do not wish to continue participating in the consultation process can withdraw their allotted seats within the stipulated time.AKTU provides consultation on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Education Department for admission to undergraduate and integrated courses offered by AKTU affiliated universities and other participating state universities. Admissions are based on the National Unified Entrance Examination scores which, depending on the course, include Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Subject, Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG), Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) and National Architectural Aptitude Test (NATA).

- Log in using the required credentials.
- Check the allocated college and course details shown on the screen.
- Download the seat assignment letter.
- Print it out and keep it in a safe place for future admissions related processes.
