Nivea B. Hamilton, better known by her stage name Nivea, recently opened up about her health. In an interview, the R&B singer revealed that he was diagnosed with leukemia and has been undergoing treatment for a long time. Some of his hits over the years include ‘Complicated’, ‘Laundromat’, and ‘Don’t Mess with My Man.’

Singer Nivea reveals she has leukemia

While presenting the latest episode of the ‘Cadillac Chronicles’ podcast, the singer revealed more about her cancer diagnosis and what life has been like since then. The 44-year-old, when asked what he is most grateful for this year, said, “Well, first of all, I was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this year, and I am very thankful to God. I have been receiving treatment, and everything is going very well. And I hope it continues. Who, who.”She added that she is “grateful” for her life and has been taking everything in stride. Adding more, he revealed, “It’s easy to say you don’t know the time or the hour, but it’s true, and it’s just helped me focus on a lot of things, and I live with gratitude, like, religiously, and I just appreciate everything.”The singer did not elaborate on his illness; however, he shared that he is committed to doing things his way, and that he is getting back into his music. As for other new things he’s doing in his life, the singer said, “I’m going to audio engineering school. I’ve always wanted to study engineering, especially mixing engineering.” The Grammy-nominated singer also concluded by saying, “I’m just thankful and I’m going to take every chance I get.”“Nivea is the mother of three children: Navy Talia, whom she and The-Dream adopted in 2005, and sons London and Christian, who were born in 2006.
