Speaking to us exclusively, Akaar also said, “I vividly remember the day he said goodbye to him at Mehboob Studio in Bandra. My father, Anwar Ali, played two roles in his brother’s life, as his younger brother and his best friend. Both relationships came with a lot of emotion and responsibility. I saw such a meeting between them, which was like a child. Through observation, I was able to relate.“As he continued, Ali revealed one memory where Mehmood came from America and brought him a special gift. “It was his wooden HEAD tennis racquet, a vintage of about 20 years. At that time, I was playing in the competitive circuit and pursuing lawn tennis. When I look back, my heart is filled with gratitude as he supported my passion for the game at that time and continues to do so with the film,” recalled Akaar.
