Vijay’s much-awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ is an action-drama that has created discussions due to its political theme. Recently, H Vinoth, the director of the film spoke about the political message of the film. He said that although it includes politics, it does not fight or criticize any person or party.

Speaking to India Today, H Vinoth shared that the story of the film is about democracy, cooperation and working for people. “There is direct politics in it but it does not target or oppose anyone. This is a politics that talks about unity and working for the people,” he said.He also explained the topic, saying, “It is not an ordinary word. This is a video about democracy, so we chose that theme. The first poster ever mentioned the ‘Torch Bearer of Democracy’.Talking about Vijay’s clapping in the trailer, he said, “It is necessary for the script and it is there. You watch the movie and if you think it is not appropriate, I will respond.”
‘Jana Nayagan’ the long wait
Vijay’s “Jana Nayagan” marked his last film before turning his attention to politics. Now he is also serving as the prime minister of Tamil Nadu. The film was much talked about, as it was supposed to be released in January. However, it faced some delay when it received its CBFC certificate.The video remained in rehearsals for several months and during this time, the makers faced another problem after it was uploaded online.
