55-year-old actor Matt Damon has been telling the truth about his personal life for the past few years. As he rode the success of “The Odyssey,” the actor opened up about the changes in his life after turning 50, noting that things have gotten better and he’s been living a fulfilling life lately.

The popular actor recently opened up about how life changed for him after celebrating his 50th birthday six years ago. Speaking to PEOPLE, the actor said that getting older has forced him to reframe his priorities and given him important life lessons.He added, “You get to the other side of 50, and for me, I started to feel like time is the most precious thing. I just want to be intentional about what I’m doing and make sure I’m spending as much as I want to.” He said he now has three priorities in life: “my family and work,” and his non-profit organization that provides clean water to those in poverty.For the uninitiated, Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, share four daughters: Alexia (27), Isabella (20), Gia (17), and Stella (15). Speaking about his family, he said, “Having two older children who have left the nest and knowing how quickly these last years go by, we are trying to remember as much as we can.” He also said that he wants to grow his film company, which he started with his good friend, Ben Affleck.

The actor revealed that things went well for him after turning 50. He added, “That’s a very fulfilling life. I feel like I’ve slowed down a bit and I’m not rushing anything. I just want to do the work that I think is the best for my goals and for things that I really believe in. “He also said that as he gets older, more things are in his hands, which makes it difficult for him to come to terms with them. Damon also said: “I just think about what I can and can’t do, instead of mocking the gods for things I can’t control.”

Christopher Nolan’s latest film from Homer’s classic text follows the story of the King of Ithaca, who goes to fight the Trojan War, and after 10 years of fighting, he wins. However, when he returns home, he must spend another 10 years on a dangerous journey filled with all kinds of supernatural beings, monsters, and gods ready to kill him.
