The ‘God of War’ franchise’s live-action adaptation was moving forward. However, according to recent reports, Ryan Hurst has been injured while shooting some of the upcoming events.
Ryan Hurst Injured While Filming ‘God of War’
TMZ recently reported that Ryan Hurst, who will play Kratos, injured himself on the set of ‘God of War’. According to reports, while filming one of the most challenging scenes in the game, the actor ended up tearing his bicep.After being examined, the report said that the actor needs surgery to deal with the problem. Because of this, and Hurst being the director of the upcoming show, production dates were pushed back. The studio hopes that he will recover and resume by the middle of August, however, due to his injury, the actor will need more time and effort to get back to normal.Although there have been no comments that will be shared about what will happen with the production at this time, it has been said that there is a possibility that the filming and production of the whole show could be pushed to 2027. The filming was taking place in Vancouver until the event.The actor has not said anything about the matter since its end.

The story follows Kratos, the son of Zeus, and a Spartan god who is transformed into killing his entire family. When he discovers the truth, he destroys Greek superstitions and fights against the greatest and most powerful gods in the land. The live action will essentially follow Kratos and his son, Atreus, on a journey to spread the ashes of Faye (his wife) from the highest peak in the realms.Besides Hurst, several cast members have been announced, including Callum Vinson as Atreus, Teresa Palmer as SifMax Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Ed Skrein as Baldur, Louis Cunningham as Modi, and Island Austin as Thrud.
