Salman was the common contact who introduced the two, the two revealed that despite denying their love, Salman had already read between the lines. Recalling the moment, Zaheer said, “Salman Khan saw us before we told him. He already knew.”Sonakshi added with a laugh, “There was a vibe, and he’s not stupid. He saw us. When he asked me, we would say, ‘Aisa kuch nahi hai.’ (There is nothing between us). Then one day he said, ‘Dekho, ek din tum log ka break-up hoga.’ Tu yahan se aake royega, woh wahan se aake royega. (You see, one day you all will break up. You will come crying to me and so will he) I love you all, and I don’t want to take part.‘We were very surprised because he had thought about it.’
