The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) today (July 15) announced the final seat allotment results for the first round of admission to undergraduate courses in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the first round of Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) counseling can now check their allotment status on the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.To access results, candidates must log in using their application number and password.The final seat allotment is prepared on the basis of merit of the candidates, booking category, selections filled during counseling and seat availability. The provisional seat allocation results were announced on July 14, and the final seat allocation has now been announced.Candidates who have been allotted a seat must download the seat allotment slip, pay the required admission fee and report to the allotted college within the schedule announced by KEA.

How to download 2026 KCET first round final seat allocation results

Candidates can follow the steps below to check the allocation results:

  • Please visit the KEA official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  • Click on the “2026 KCET First Round Final Seat Allocation Result” link on the homepage.
  • Enter your application number and password.
  • Click Submit.
  • Your seat assignment will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download the seat assignment slip and print it out for future use.

Documents required for admission

Candidates should prepare the following materials when registering at the designated institution:

  • KCET first round seat allocation order
  • KCET Admission Ticket
  • KCET scorecard or ranking card
  • Printed copy of KCET application form
  • Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10 mark card and pass certificate
  • Level 12 or 2nd PUC scorecard and pass certificate
  • Aadhaar card or any other valid government issued photo ID
  • Transfer certificate (TC) issued by the last institution attended
  • Recent passport size photo
  • Admission fee payment receipt if fees have been paid online

Candidates are advised to carefully check the courses and colleges allotted to them before completing the admission process. They should also complete all admission formalities within the deadlines stipulated by KEA to secure their allotted seats.
